Managing Corporate Entities

Corporate Entities are the companies that form your organization's corporate family.

Each entity has a dedicated record in Entity Management where you can capture company details, manage appointments, record shareholdings, track key dates, and store documents.

The Corporate Entities list

Select Entities from the left sidebar. The list shows all Corporate Entities with columns for Name, Formation Date, Address, Company Identifier, Last Modified, and Modified By.

Filter using the keyword bar at the top, or type in the column header filter fields to narrow by a specific column. A result count and Clear all filters button appear when filters are active.

The Corporate Entity record

Select an entity tile to open its record. The main column contains the entity header, Appointments, Company Details, Internal Details, and Audit History. The right sidebar contains Shareholders, Key Dates / Tasks, and Documents.

Company Details

Standard fields used across all Xakia organizations: Legal Entity Name, Tax Identifier, Company Identifier, Entity Status, Entity Type, Prior Legal Names, Registered Entity Date, and registered address.

Internal Details

Subscriber-defined fields configured by your organization. These vary between organizations and may capture information such as internal identifiers, financial data, or key contacts. If no Internal Details fields are visible, ask your Xakia Admin to configure them in Admin > Custom Fields > Entity Management.

Editing company details

Select + Edit Details at the bottom of the Internal Details section to open the Edit Company Details modal. This covers both Company Details and Internal Details fields. Select Save when finished.

Note: Company Details fields are standard across all Xakia organizations. Internal Details fields are configured per organization. A maximum of six Internal Details custom fields can be configured.
