Audit History in Entity Management

Every Corporate Entity and Individual record maintains a full, chronological Audit History of all changes. It provides a tamper-evident record that supports governance and compliance requirements.

Viewing the Audit History

A preview of recent audit entries appears at the bottom of every Corporate Entity and Individual record. Select View all to open the full Audit History modal.

What is recorded

  • Record creation — when the entity or individual was created, and by whom.

  • Field changes — the field name, and both the previous and new values.

  • Appointments — when appointments are added, including the appointment date.

  • Shareholdings — when shareholdings are added, including type, quantity, and entity.

  • Tasks and Key Dates — when items are added to the record.

  • Documents — when documents are uploaded or marked as confidential.

  • Address changes — when addresses are added or updated.

Navigating from the Audit History

Entity and individual names within audit entries are clickable links. Select a name to navigate directly to that record.

Audit History columns

  • Created — date and time of the change.

  • Created By — the Xakia user who made the change.

  • Field — the type of change (for example, Appointment Added).

  • Details — a plain-language description of what changed.

Note: Entries appear in most-recent-first order. The oldest entry in any record is always the creation event.
