How to Clear Your Cache

Something causing trouble? Clearing your cache is the fastest way to get things going again!

Sometimes something funny might get caught in your cache that disagrees with Xakia - clearing your cache is the best way to ensure a smooth working environment!


Please follow these instructions on how to clear your cache and perform a hard refresh.

Clear from within Xakia

  1. Click your name in the top right corner

  2. Click 'Profile & Preferences'

  3. Click 'Clear Browser Cache'

  4. Click 'Confirm'

  5. Sign back in to Xakia

Clear from Browser:

1. Make sure you are on the Xakia tab to clear cache (won’t work on Internet Explorer)

2. Click three buttons in top right-hand corner of your browser (not in Xakia)

  • Alternatively you can press Ctrl + Shift + I

3. Click ‘More tools’

4. Click ‘Development tools’

5. Click ‘Network’

6. Check box for ‘Disable cache’ and refresh browser

  • Once you have refreshed your browser go back and uncheck 'Disable cache'

7. Select ‘Application’ from top ribbon (may have to expand window or click the double arrows)

  • Click 'Storage'

  • Check box for ‘including third-party cookies’

  • Click ‘Clear site data’

8. Under ‘Storage’

  • Expand ‘Local storage’

  • Right click the Xakia URL

  • Click ‘Clear’

9. Close Developer tools

10. Perform a hard refresh
