AutoDocs enhancements
We've released further enhancements to our AutoDocs feature as follows:
AutoComplete
You can now configure and AutoDoc so that, on the document request being completed, the Legal Request associated with it is:
- automatically converted to a matter; and
- the matter is automatically completed (and allocated resourcing of "Automated - In Full").
This allows a zero-touch legal service, including zero-touch data capture about the legal activity so that it is available for inclusion in reporting.
Because a matter must have:
- a Matter Manager;
- a Division; and
- a Category,
as part of the configuration of AutoComplete you are able to set overrides for each of these items to ensure AutoComplete always works. If you do not set these overrides and any of these items are missing, the AutoDoc will still be provided to the end user as configured - you will simply need to convert the legal request to a matter manually.
Date Formatting
You can now configure date formats for AutoDocs, with both short date (e.g. 01/15/2023) and long date (e.g. Sunday, 15 January 2023) options provided for. This improves flexibility compared to the initial AutoDocs release where all dates were in UTC format only.
Manually run AutoDocs
Occasionally for various reasons it is possible that AutoDocs will not run properly at the instant your Internal Client submits their request form and in those cases, rather than asking the Internal Client to resubmit their request, you are now able to run AutoDocs manually against their request to re-produce the documents. This can be done once the request has been converted to a matter, by accessing the Actions menu of that matter.
Note: The purpose of this feature is to simple re-create the document as requested in case of a technical error at the time of submission. If changes need to be made to the Internal Client's responses in the request form, another request would need to be lodged.
