Create a list of external resources to be available for adding to matters, upload invoices and more.
Before you can record details about your external resources on each matter, you will need to compile a list of external resources for your team to choose from when setting up a matter.
Managing your external resource list
The Location Administrator can manage this list as follows:
- Click on 'Admin' in the top navigation menu
- Click on 'External Resources' on the left navigation bar
- Click 'Add New' and scroll through the list or start typing the name of the organization you require
- Select the organization, country and tick the boxes for the offices which will be used by your team
- Click 'Save'
Configuring external resources
Each external resource location selected can be configured to:
- Be listed as a 'Panel' firm, which means that they will appear at the top of your list of external resources for your team members to select on a matter
- Be open to send 'invites' directly from the matter - this is primarily used for inviting to a matter so that the external resource can submit invoices for approval.
Delete external resource from the list
To delete an external resource from your list:
- Click on 'Admin' from the top navigation menu
- Select 'External Resources' from the left-hand menu
- Click 'Edit' on the external resource that you want to remove
- Untick the office location checkbox
- Click 'Save'
- Refresh your Xakia page and the external resource will have been removed
