Enable key dates to be sent to personal calendars.
By default, Xakia does not consider email to be a secure method of communicating potentially confidential information. Therefore, as an information security precaution, calendar notification emails are not enabled until a Location Admin elects to activate this feature.
To adjust your calendar notification setting:
- Select 'Admin' from the top navigation menu
- Select 'Notifications' from the left hand menu
- Select the 'Other' tab
- Toggle 'Calendar Invitations' to 'On'
- Click the 'Save' button on the right hand side
Going forward, on each matter, users will be able to opt to receive key date notifications / invitations to add the key date to their personal calendars. Click here to learn how to add matter key dates to your personal calendar.
Note: Xakia uses Twilio single send API to process and send notifications emails. The key date information included in notification emails through toggling the options above are processed by Twilio for the purposes of sending the email, but not stored or processed for any other purpose following the email being sent successfully. For more information, please see these Twilio articles:
Note: a known bug on this feature is the date compatibility with Mac-hosted systems (including O365 for Mac) for the 'end' date). This will be addressed shortly. When an invitation is received via email, the date can be manually adjusted to match the 'from' date.
