I have set up a new matter using the form, but the 'save' button remains greyed out.
Answer
If you are trying to save a new matter and the 'Save' button remains greyed out and you can't complete the matter creation process, please check the following:
Mandatory fields are completed on the matter form
Please check you have completed all the mandatory fields on the core matter form. If these are not auto-filling or selected by you, the 'Save' button will remain inaccessible.
Mandatory fields include:
- Matter Manager
- Division
- Resourcing
- Category
- Size
- Risk / Priority
- Complexity
- Strategy
- Date Received
- Date Required
External resources
Are you resourcing this matter with an external resource? If yes, you need to complete the following fields on the 'External Resources' tab before you can save a matter:
- Type of Resource
- Name
- Fee Type
- Default currency (this will auto-fill to your Location's currency)
- Initial cost estimate (this will default to zero)
