Determine the manner in which your matter will be resourced, to demonstrate the volume of work done by each resourcing option

'Resourcing' of a matter is an important metric, and will help to demonstrate the volume of work being managed by the internal legal team relative to other resourcing options. Your options include:

• External
• Internal
• Internal & External

When creating a matter, the default option of 'Internal' will be selected. When 'External' or 'Internal & External' is selected, an External Resource must be selected, and the fee type entered before a matter can be saved.

Note that if you are using automation tools, you can also opt to use Resourcing options:

• Automated - in full
• Automated - in part

This is done by:

• Click on 'Admin' in the top navigation menu
• Click 'Integrations' from the left hand side menu
• Click on the 'Automation' tab and select the automation tools used

When adding a matter, or preparing your automation tools to use Xakia's API, the additional 'Resourcing' options will be available.
