Important: Please email us at email@example.com to activate your Brightflag integration.
Once we have set up your Brightflag integration, you'll need to configure your Xakia location data to match the data in Brightflag as follows:
'External Resources' in Xakia must be matched up with 'Vendors' in Brightflag. This is done by configuring each external firm in Xakia with a 'Vendor Ref' value from Brightflag.
In Xakia Admin, under External Resources, there is a new column for your external resources that shows the Brightflag 'Vendor Ref' value for each firm.
You can edit each firm and configure the corresponding Brightflag 'Vendor Ref' value. This will need to be done for any external firm used in Brightflag.
The name of each 'Division' must match exactly with a 'Department' in Brightflag. Ensure casing, hyphenation and special characters are the same and check there are no leading/trailing spaces.
The name of each 'Category' must match exactly with a 'Category' in Brightflag. Please check that casing, hyphenation and special characters are the same and there are no leading/trailing spaces.
'Entities' in Xakia must match up with 'Entities' in Brightflag. The 'Company Identifier' field of an entity in Xakia must match up exactly with an 'Entity' name in Brightflag. Clients have the option to specify a default entity that all matters in Xakia will fall back to, if no entity is specified on the matter.
Matters marked confidential in Xakia can (as a configuration option) redact confidential matter names in Brightflag, such that other Brightflag users, or (if Brightflag is integrated with accounts payable), users outside the legal team are not exposed to sensitive matter information.
