New Matter Discussion Feature, View Related Matters in Matters List and Card View, Legal Intake Tool iManage Integration, Outlook Add-In Increased Character Limit, and more.
New Matter Discussion Feature: You will see a new discussion tab within your matters. The discussion tab allows you to have a direct back and forth chat with your Internal Clients. Your Internal Clients will be able to view the discussion in their own Internal Client Portal.
In addition to the Discussion tab, you will be able to easily view matters that have active discussions on the matters list and card view via a discussion icon. When you select the discussion icon, a slide-out will appear, allowing you to view the discussion and add to the discussion from your Matters List.
View Related Matters in Matters List and Card View: You can now filter to view related matters in your Matter list. When you select 'Edit Columns' under the Actions tab, there is a new column option titled 'Related Matters' which you can add to your view.
In both the Matters List and Card View, you can select the three ellipses on the matter, and a slide-out will appear in order to view the parent, child, and/or sibling matters. A link to each matter is provided in order to easily access your related matters.
Save Documents to iManage from your Legal Intake Requests: Similar to what we recently released for SharePoint, you can now save documents that are submitted through your Legal Intake requests directly to your designated workspace in iManage. Admin iManage Configuration: Users with Admin permission levels can now self-configure iManage directly on their platform. To learn how to do this, view the configuration instructions in this article.
Outlook Add-In Increased Character Limit: We have increased the character limit in both the matter name and description when creating matters from your Outlook Add-In. The character limit has been extended to 200 characters for matter names and 500 characters for matter descriptions.
New Format Added for DMS Files: Xakia now supports text file format (file names that end in .txt). You can upload files with the .txt format using Xakia's document management and when using Legal Intake Forms. Learn more about our Document Management here.
Identity Provider in Admin (Single Sign-On or "SSO"): If you are set up to use SSO, An option to choose which identity provider for each user has been added. When you add or edit a user, you will be able to select which identity provider they will use for logging into their Xakia. You can follow the instructions in these articles, to learn more about setting up single sign-on.
