New Internal Client Portal, Share Discussions with Internal Clients, New Icons in Matters, External Resource Currency Bug Fix
New Internal Client Portal: We have officially launched an upgraded version of Xakia's Internal Client Portal. This Internal Client Portal provides more visibility and interaction with your internal clients and their legal requests. At a high level:
- The design of the Portal can be easily configured in your Admin.
- Internal Clients will now have their own, personal access to submit legal requests and to view their previously submitted legal requests.
- Internal clients will be able to see details about their requests, follow their matters, and share discussions and notes with the legal team.

Share Discussions with Internal Clients: A new release to the Discussion tab this week is the ability to share discussions with your Internal Clients in your matter. The Discussion tab allows for quick messaging with your internal clients, and the discussion record is saved to the matter. To do this, you can navigate to the Discussion tab within your matter, and toggle the "Share with Internal Client" selection to "On". The discussion will be displayed in their Internal Client Portal.
Note: To view and respond to Discussions, the Internal Client will need access to the New Internal Client Portal.
New Matter Icons: You will now notice Icons in your matter. These icons are displayed above each tab name in your matter (i.e., Notes, Documents, Tasks). When you select the different icons, the full icon name will appear.
Bug Fix: Currencies on Invoices from External Resources were displaying incorrectly. This has now been fixed.
