Saved Searches

Saved Searches let you store any Global Search query - simple or complex - so you can re-run it in one click. Use them to keep an eye on your active matters, your team's contracts, or any recurring search you run regularly.

Navigate to Saved Searches

Run a Global Search, then use the Save this search and Saved searches icons in the top right of the search bar.

Step 1: Save a search

Once you have entered your search term and applied any filters or syntax, save the query for reuse:

1. Run your search and confirm the results look right.

2. Click the Save this search icon (bookmark with a plus) at the top right of the search bar.

3. Give the search a Name and an optional Description.

4. Click Save.

Step 2: Re-run a saved search

To open and re-run a search you have saved:

5. Click the Saved searches icon (bookmark) at the top right of the search bar.

6. Select the search you want to run from the list.

7. Xakia applies your saved query and filters and shows the latest results.

Tip: Saved Searches always return live results - the query is re-run every time you open it, so you will see any new items that match.

Step 3: Manage your saved searches

From the Saved searches list you can also:

  • Edit - update the name, description, or query of an existing saved search.

  • Delete - remove a saved search you no longer need.

What is saved

Saved Searches store the full configuration of your query, including:

  • The search term and any search syntax (AND, OR, NOT, parentheses, wildcards, quoted phrases, proximity operators)

  • All filters applied (Business Unit, Group, Created/Modified dates, Matter Manager, Contract Owner, Department, Category, Priority, Status, and more)

  • The result tab you had selected (e.g. Matters, Documents, Contracts)

Result

Your Saved Searches are personal to you and available across every session. They give you a one-click way to return to the same view of your work without having to rebuild the query each time.
