We’re in the Claude Connectors Directory, with a separate connector for each Xakia data region: Xakia (Australia), Xakia (Canada), Xakia (United Kingdom), Xakia (Netherlands) and Xakia (United States). Setup takes a few minutes and you only do it once.
These steps cover Claude Desktop. Claude Code isn’t supported at the moment.

Before you start
An Administrator has switched on AI Enabled and MCP Enabled for your location in Admin › AI Settings, and you’re included in Who can access MCP. Read Xakia MCP Connector: Overview and Requirements for the full list.
Claude Desktop is installed and you’re signed in to your Claude account.
If your organization uses a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, a Claude Owner needs to add Xakia first. See the next section.
You know which region your organization’s Xakia data is hosted in. If you’re not sure, ask your Xakia Administrator or Customer Success Manager.
Add Xakia for your organization (Claude Team and Enterprise Owners only)
Skip this section if you use an individual Claude plan, or if your Claude Owner has already added Xakia.
Open Connectors. In Claude, go to Organization settings › Connectors.
Browse connectors. Click Browse connectors.
Add Xakia. Select the Xakia connector for your region, for example Xakia (United States), and click Add to your team. If your organization has Xakia locations in more than one region, add the connector for each one.
Adding Xakia makes it available to your team, but it doesn’t grant anyone access to Xakia. Each person still signs in with their own Xakia account.
Connect Claude Desktop to Xakia
Open Connectors. In Claude Desktop, click your Profile, select Settings, then select Connectors.
Find Xakia. Search for Xakia and click the connector for your region, for example Xakia (United States).
Connect. Review the connector’s description and click Connect.
Sign in. A Xakia sign-in window opens. Sign in with your usual Xakia credentials, including Single Sign-On (SSO) or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if your organization uses them.
Allow access. Review the consent screen, which describes the read-only access Claude is requesting, then click Allow. You’ll return to Claude, and your Xakia connector shows as connected under Profile › Settings › Connectors.
The consent screen appears every time you connect. You stay signed in for up to 30 days. If you don’t use the connector for 15 days, you’ll be asked to sign in again.
Turn on Xakia in a conversation
Start a new chat. Open a new chat in Claude Desktop.
Check the connector. Click + in the lower left of the chat, hover over Connectors, and make sure your Xakia connector is toggled on.
Ask a question. For example: “Which of my open matters have key dates due in the next two weeks?”
Claude only returns information you already have access to in Xakia.
To choose whether Claude asks before using a Xakia tool, go to Profile › Settings › Connectors, select your Xakia connector, and set each tool under Tool permissions to Always allow or Needs approval. Read Manage Xakia Connector Tool Permissions in Claude Desktop for more.
Choose your Xakia location
If you belong to 1 location with the connector enabled, Claude uses it automatically. If you belong to several, Claude asks which one you mean. Reply with the location name, and Claude keeps using it for the rest of the conversation.
If Claude tells you a location isn’t enabled, ask your Xakia Administrator to switch on MCP Enabled for it.
